Can’t say enough good things about Founder. Cocktails are fabulous but the dark horse is the food - Chef Kendall is very talented and his dishes are not only super tasty, but he incorporates interesting twists into them as well. I enjoy the warm salads. The cold salads are also amazing. Everything is so fresh. Easy to order online for pickup. Dining in is lovely, but you may need to reserve ahead even at lunch.

The place has a great ancient vibe, feels to have a lot of history. The food was great, but a bit too expensive.

Fantastic atmosphere for romantic date! Premium quality of food with great price and unforgettable sightseeing views! This restaurant is an absolutly hidden gem! It is such a pleasure to live around this area.

The food was great! We looooved the cheeseboard, nothing negative to say about it! We ordered the duck confit, pizza margherita and the french onion soup. The duck was extremely good, and the pizza was great as well. The soup was slightly too salty, but it was not bad. For dessert, we had the lemon pie and tiramisu. The lemon pie was fresh and delicious. The tiramisu’s cream tasted more like whip cream, it was not very flavourful. Overall, our experience was great. Clean place to eat.

Have never had anything close to a bad/mediocre experience at Mati! Appetizers are creative and come in surprisingly large portions, steaks are grilled to perfection (and come with fantastic potatoes), and the seafood tower is on another level compared to others I've tried. It's not very traditional (e.g. no crab legs, instead there's items like calamari, wonton tuna tacos, sushi), but the flavours are superb.The service is fantastic every time I go and it's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!

Their beautiful patio by the river is magical. We very much enjoyed their food (pizzas are amazing) and drinks (good selection of beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic options). Andrew is passionate about his job and you can tell. From greeting us outdoors when we were undecided, to solving a problem we had with one of the dishes, talking to us about things to do in Elora… He deserves all the credit for the fantastic experience we had at La Fontana. I’d give it 10 starts if I could. Thanks Andrew!

Went on Mother’s Day without a reservation and they were happy to accommodate our party of three. Food was excellent and large enough for us all to take home a meal for the next day. We had the warm olives to start with bread. Delicious! Our entrees were a hot and honey pizza, pasta with caramelized onions and cream sauce, pasta with sausage, peppers, and ricotta cheese sauce. All were very flavourful, served hot, and definitely worth a another visit. All staff were friendly and very pleasant. Made to feel very welcome. Nice location and good view of the river.

Went with a party of 8 and tried almost everything on the menu. It was all excellent : the mushroom fresh rolls, Brussels sprouts, beef rib and tasty take on fried chicken real stood out. The sauce for the gnocchi tasted home made. Great take on arugula salad with the addition of fennel. Loved all of it. Space was very “New York.” I would recommend and will go back. Thank you chef.

From start to finish, I am absolutely pleased with ever aspect of Orchard. The pork belly is perfect. I had it with the honey roasted carrots and it was a perfect way to recover from my travel to Calgary. My server was very polite and professional. I highly recommend eating here and trying the drink menu also as it's delicious also. Along with all this goodness the design and ambience is spot on. Thank you!
